a few years later and a few years wiser, i revisited the wall mural checkered print concept (see Warped Checkered Print (2019)). i lived in a funky shaped room with six walls in it. i mapped and measured it out in procreate on an ipad to make a fun design entirely of straight lines. so with a lot of twine and tape and about forty hours of my own time along with drop ins from half a dozen friends (shout out to the tall ones for help with the high up spots when my arms could not take it anymore), my lemon lime palace came to be. in classic sharrin fashion documenting this project was little more than a quick afterthought hence the poor photo and video quality but hey at least i took a selfie. they sold the building a year later and the four of us moved out.
